Frame Rate Test (fpstest.vip) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Data You Provide

  • Test Inputs: The FPS test runs locally in your browser. We do not store your test values.
  • Contact Requests: If you email us, we receive your message and address so we can respond.
  • Feedback Submissions: If you use the feedback form, we may receive your message, optional email address, page URL, language, and basic diagnostic context so we can understand and respond to the report.

Automatically Collected Data

  • Basic Analytics: We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (page views, general device type, and referrer) to improve the service.
  • Product Interactions: On English tool pages, our first-party analytics may record anonymous events such as whether a tool or control was visible, whether a test was started or completed, broad test-duration and result ranges, report actions, language changes, and client-side errors. We do not collect exact FPS results, text entered into forms, email addresses, IP addresses, or raw browser user-agent strings through this analytics system.
  • Session Measurement: We use a random identifier stored in browser session storage to group events during the current tab session. It is not a persistent account identifier and is removed when the tab session ends.

Data Storage and Security

  • We do not permanently store FPS results.
  • Anonymous product-interaction events are stored in our Cloudflare D1 database and are automatically deleted after 90 days.
  • Data is transmitted over HTTPS.
  • We retain only what is necessary to operate the service and respond to requests.

Cookies

Our first-party product analytics does not use cookies. It respects your browser’s Do Not Track setting. You can also disable it on this site by setting fps_analytics_ignore to true in local storage.

Third-Party Services

We may use infrastructure providers (hosting, CDN, or analytics). Those providers process data under their own privacy policies.

Anonymous product-interaction events and feedback submissions are processed by our self-hosted services on Cloudflare Workers/D1. Email notifications for feedback may be sent through the configured Cloudflare email service.

Children’s Privacy

This service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
